Children love to explore the world around them, from toys to fingers to parent projects. When they are examining objects around them, much more takes place in their minds. They are beginning to understand how to interact with the world around them through simple objects. Their explorations are also teaching them spatial awareness, object preference, and sensory perception. The lifelong lesson of body awareness begins as soon as they recognize inside and outside. We will practice noticing different objects to explore and identifying specific body parts through song.
Tip for Home: Sing “Head Shoulders Knees and Toes” and/ or similar songs (try making up your own) Peek- a Boo and Hide and Seek with Fun Objects.
